Can't wait to see all your pics, Chuck.

Wow, are you ever going to lose some weight !
... All that rushing around the world.  ;D

(of course, we're all as jealous as sin)

How is everyone doing today?

Well, according to my travel calendar, I have only one spot to see today!

Antartica!

A visit to a penguinm rookery, whose tuxedoed residents number in the tens of thousands, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, yet it's just part of the adventure in this surreal, ethereally beautiful continent.  Ice seems limitless and the sky and sea blend into a milliion shades of white and blue.

What does everyone have planned for the weekend?  Saturday is my high school bud's son's bday, so I'll be at the house for that.  I thought it would be rough on my diet, they usually do heavy foods.  However, he's told me they plan on having deli wraps and salads, so I'll be just fine.

;D

Don't forget to bring a warm sweater, Chuck!!

I've heard Antarctica is cold.

Yesterday I was at a birthday party.  It was my friends' son's birthday, he turned 12.  I got him a gift card to Dick's Sports Store, I figured that was something he could use and would want.

I did manage to avoid a lot of high calorie foods there yesterday.  I had no chips, no beer, no soda, no pizza, no crackers.  I had a few pieces of cheese, and some deli wraps.  Chicken ceasar, or turkey & swiss, very tasty.  They also had a long Italian style sub that was sliced into small segments, I let myself have one segment.  Of course, I had a piece of the bday cake, but it was very small.

It was good to see old friends again.  ;D

Today is an easy day.......slept in, surfin' the 'net, and just finished a green salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
