The Mekong Delta - Vietnam
Foreign visitors can find a wonderful insight into the real Vietnam in the many waterways of the Mekong River delta, south of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). The fertile land and streams produce many of the country's food, and some of it is for sale at its many floating markets.

Oh the Mekong Delta.....my son recently spent 8 months working in Hanoi, Vietnam, and one of the trips he did, was a boat ride down the Mekong River.....
