Mark Wahlberg starred in The Yards. He also starred in The Shooter (2007) which featured Kate Mara, who played the eldest Alma, Jr. in BBM.

Sad connections, I know, but I just couldn't bring myself to post a picture of "Zombie" which was filmed in NY, a state in which Heath lived.

Another connection...this movie was made in the Netherlands.

A group of Euro-Brokies (including me!) saw the stage version of BBM in the Netherlands last March.
