It's been too long since I have read this one.  Time for a re-read.

And so true, sadly, that Anne Rice's books have gone downhill recently.

I am so glad it is not just me!!

I don't know what in the world she is talking about half the time anymore...

Thought this quote on friendship was great for a laugh first thing in the morning......

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Not just you!  She has gone from being my favorite author to one whose new books just sit on my shelf.  I think the turning point came with Violin, if that was the one that starts off with the protagonist being unable to part with the body of her dead husband lying in the bed.  Whatever that one was, I couldn't get through it and I don't think I've read an Anne Rice book since.

I did enjoy some of her writings under the pseudonyms Anne Rampling and A.N. Roquelaure.  Have you read any of those?

who??!! me?? I am an innocent country girl I dont know nothing about none of that stuff...

what books?
