Today is Memorial Day. Take a minute to think of all the men and women who have given so much to our country--and think about how much their families gave, too. If you're a praying kind of person, say a prayer, if not just think about all those people who served and gave so much, even to the ultimate sacrifice.

And don't forget those who still serve, and their families, friends, and loved ones, too.

 :)

This is a picture of my Grandfather, Carl S Bishop Sr.
He served in the Army Air Corps (later called the Air Force) in WWII.
He was in the South Pacific. He retired from the Air Force in 1963 after over 20 yrs of service.
He died March 11,1997. He was my hero!

Wow that is so cool, I have been to his grave, and now I know what he looks like.

I think you favor him.

I wish. He was so handsome.
Funny thing is, he was only about 5'5" LOL.
I always thought he was a giant when I was little though!

John F. Kennedy would have been 91 today.

Great picture of JFK. I can't imagine him being 91. That feels so odd to know that.
