Happy VD to you, Janice and Rich.  :-* :-*

I think they can give you a shot for that. ...

Shakesthecoffecan:
Okay here is a thought.

I think that the Clingons are actually speaking Welsh. Here is a video featuring Ioan Griffudd and Matthew Rhys reciting poetry to one another. Whaddya think?

southendmd:
Ioan Griffud could recite the Welsh phone book and I'd be riveted. :P

Here's a video response: "The Boy From..."  from Sondheim's The Mad Show.

("I'm verklempt.")

Shakesthecoffecan:
That was funny. I was real impressed that she was able to sing the name of that place, but then she sang
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch which I had never heard anyone speak before.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch, which in Welsh mean: "The church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees near the rapid whirlpool by St. Tysilio's of the red cave" was for many years recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records as the longest place name, but has since been replaced by:

"krungthepmahanakhonamornrattanakosinmahintarayudthayamahadilokpohpnoparatrajathaneebureeromudomrajniwes mahasatarnamornpimarnavaltarnsatitsakatattiyavisanukramprasit"

which I understand is the official name of Bangkok in Thai.

Good Ole Stephen Sondheim.

southendmd:
That's a mouthful.

If you like songs where the singer sings very quickly, I can think of a few.  Here's a gem:  it's a parody of Gilbert and Sullivan's famous song from Pirates of Penzance, called "I am the very model of a modern homosexual", lyrics by Tom Orr.

Be patient with the video; it's worth it.  He sings it at double time at the end.
