What was the first thing that made you think it was about gays?
It appeared to be about race to me, until Shasta posted the hidden agenda

Well, the utter absurdity of the words. Fill in "any race" for Asian, it's still absurd. It clearly goes to the notion that one is born a certain way, no ministry can change that. To me, it clearly mocks the ex-gay stance.
I suppose that at the same time, it is racist as well. As if there's something wrong with being Asian that anyone would want to change.

personally I dont see anything wrong with it at all. I could have used a few more brain cells. Specially
in the math department..They seem to be smarter than me for sure...
but I dont see anything wrong with being gay either...the only problem with it is other peoples that do
have problems with it...
Maybe I am experiencing backlash at this point...i get my dander up anytime i am confronted by prejudice, of
any kind..be it gay or racial, or gender or whatever....

It's funny how some of us saw the "gay" idea right away and some of us didn't. That was the first thing I thought of too, but my initial thought was that it meant something bad about gay people. In other words, Asians are born Asians, but Gays are not born Gay. I have a bad way of seeing the word "ministry" and thinking they are going to say something bad about gay people. I guess that has a lot to do with where I am from.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that was it's a "spoof" or parody of the "ex gay" misistries.
Whoever manipulated the photo did a good job. Not sure that an actual billboard like that would float.
Artiste:
That billboard is too much puzzling!!
Yes, but too, too much otherwise too like racist??
Who changed that? What was the original? That?
Hugs!
