For Mother's Day, a poem by Jessi:
Mama held a small boy sleepin on his feet,
hummed love
he never forgot.
Love he passed on.
He held a boy sleepin on his feet,
hummed love
an eternity wouldn't forget.
Love he
held and passed on.
Mama kept his room like it was
when he was a boy.
He appreciated that,
her gift.
And she passed it on.
An eternity wouldn't forget
the love
he held so strong.
Ain't no saints here,
just mamas.
