Crybaby is so pretty.

P.S. That table is beautiful -- I want it.   ;)

That table behind Crybaby? That is an old Veneer end table, one of a set, my paternal grandmother bought at Harlowe's Store right after the war. Then my Mamma got a hold of them and I dunno what it was with that geeration, they had to put that fake wood print contact paper all over everthing. I need to get them refinished. There is also a coffee table what goes with them but Mamma still has that.

Yes. The one behind Crybaby. It has 4 little pedestal things underneath -- very cute. My grandmother had a round one like that with one pedestal branching out into 4 smaller ones with "claws". I gave it to my cousin. She collects old tables--I still get to see it, but I don't have to dust it.  ;D

They need to redesign it and sell it again, like they did with the bug!

It's an American thing.

When people see a Volkswagon bug, they'll turn to the nearest person, punch them on the arm, and say "Punchbuggy blue (or whatever color the bug is) no punchbacks."

Meaning they had the right to punch them because they saw a Volkswagon bug, and the other person is not allowed to punch them back.

lol

I can't explain why we do it.....we just do.  ::)
