Chuck explained it pretty well. We played it a little different, we didn't designate a color we would just yell "punch buggy no punch backs" and wail on who ever was closest to us (my little sister hated this game for obvious reasons). A triple punch buggy (the VW Van) allowed the one who saw it first to say "Triple punch buggy no punch backs" and punch the other person 3 times! LOL
I know, sounds awful but really helped to pass the time on long road trips. Boy Chrissi, growing up in Germany if y'all had this game you'd have been socking each other all the time!  :laugh:
