When is it too late to still have Holiday decorations up?

I agree, Epiphany is a good time to take it down. In fact, I leave some decor that is more wintery than Christmasy out all month.

I thought about doing that, except with the tree instead.

My Christmas train layout has an enormous Christmas tree in the center of town. I've been thinking of changing the layout to something more generic/not Christmas, but I thought yesterday that perhaps I'll just remove the tree and keep the layout "winter" for a bit longer.

I hate throwing away things that are perfectly good, just no longer of use to me. The tree was taking up valuable space (not "earning its keep") in storage, so it was time for it to go.

I'm sure that the new owner will appreciate it.

Around here, Epiphany is the traditional day to take down Christmas decorations, as it marks the end of Christmas. But I don't care; my tree, window lights and everything else will stay for another few weeks, probably end of January. I'm a card carrying member of the dead-wreath-society ;D
