HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA!!!
:-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :D :D :D :D :D :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
Dear Sweet Melissa.....
I don't think I have to tell you what a beautiful and wonderful friend you are. You have cheered me up when I've been sad, you've made me smile when I didn't feel happy, you've made me laugh during my times of darkness, and you've understood me when it felt like nobody else did.
I can't even begin to tell you what your friendship means to me. I consider it a miracle when we both met back on IMDb almost two years ago. From your very first post to me, I knew you were somebody special. Someone beautiful both inside and out. I knew you were going to be my friend.
Now, nearly two years later I feel closer to you than I do to many of my physical, real life friends. I suppose this is because even though we haven't met each other physically, you ARE a real life friend. We may live 4000 miles apart, but you are a part of my life and I carry you and your precious friendship around with me in my heart each and every day.
I love you Melissa. And I hope you have the very best and happiest of birthdays!! :-*
Have a very happy and safe birthday!
Love your very good friend,
David. xox

Here's a song in honor of your birthday, Mel!
Crossroads, seem to come and go, yeah.
The gypsy flies from coast to coast
Knowing many, loving none,
Bearing sorrow havin fun,
But back home he'll always run
To sweet Melissa... mmm...
Freight train, each car looks the same, all the same.
And no one knows the gypsy's name
No one hears his lonely sigh,
There are no blankets where he lies.
In all his deepest dreams the gypsy flies
With sweet Melissa... mmm...
Again the mornings come,
Again he's on the run,
Sunbeams shining through his hair,
Appearing not to have a care.
Well, pick up your gear and gypsy roll on, roll on.
Crossroads, will you ever let him go? (lord, lord)
Will you hide the dead man's ghost,
Or will he lie, beneath the clay,
Or will his spirit roll away?
But I know that he won't stay without Melissa.
