A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words
Shakesthecoffecan:
I can remember my mother only a bit.
Mostly she was gone, working,
And one day she just didn't come home.
What I can remember is her teaching me
To be safe, to be silent,
To keep my eyes open.
I imagined when I was little she forgot,
And fell into some trap
I wanted to help her get out.
Now I am a mother,
And I teach my daughter to be careful.
But this generation will be different.
The trap is sprung,
She will walk out of it,
And I will walk behind her.

Cooking is an artful thing.
It takes many years to learn.
The best ingredients are
Which you should always yearn.
You go to the green grocer.
You go to the farmers stand.
You can grow your own vegetables,
If best is what you desire
Have a skillfully prepared fire.
The cuisine thats best to help you fill.
The freshest if you will?
A good fresh choice to try,
is uncle hanks road kill.

This must be some kind of a cruel joke,
I knew that my Mistress was very broke..
But the thought that she put me up for sale
Is enough to make me want to wince and wail.
I was there for her, through the good and bad;
this stupid sale sign just makes me so very mad.
I have been the perfect pet...loving and good.
This is how I'm repaid... Man's best friend my foot!

Bubble, bubble, toil & trouble
make it vanish, on the double
we cast this spell, wishing good will
through the forrest, over the hill
sending peace throughout the land
goodness coming from our hand
flying to them like a white dove
sent by the goddess from up above
harmony and peace on earth
life should be full of comfort and mirth
let only happiness succeed
as we live out our wiccan reede
this is our one commandment, which we strive to fullfill
"if it harms no one, then do what you will"

I am not very superstitious at all,
but in winter, summer, spring or fall,
whenever I drive by a cemetery,
I hold my breath till I've gone past..
Not because of the old belief
that if you don't you'd suffer some grief
or become possessed or even die.
I'm afraid that is not my reason...
I do it out of respect for those who rest
six feet under the earth with a coffin for a nest;
I hold my breath to quietly greet those who
breathe no more.. if only for a few moments..
