I continue to keep my fingers crossed for Gerogia. :)

Funny thing, we got about 1.5" last week.
The next day the lake was down 2.5 inches.
The problem is the ground is so dry that it soaks up all the moisture and there is no runoff into the lake.
That coupled with the mandatory releases for Alabama and FLA, we lose more than we get!

I'm sorry to hear that Richard. I will continue to keep you and the state of Georgia in my prayers.

Thanks David we sure need prayers!
I just drove by the lake and just cried. According to the sign on the dam it is now down over 20ft!
It looks like an alien landcspe! I saw place that I have known since childhood that look so different now.
I went to a park(west Bank Park) where I took Elizabeth to fish! There is a wall that we would sit on and dip our feet in the water.
The water is now a good 100yards from the wall! :(
I'll see if I can get a picture.

Here's some pictures of West Bank Beach.
This is on the otherside of the park that I was talking about but you can get an idea of how it is.
I'll get some pics myself this weekend.
