jstephens9:
I have to answer this one, but not tonight. 2007 was a most unusual year for me.

jstephens9:
Retrospective Survey 2007

1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?

May/June:  I went to Denver, other parts of Colorado, lots of Wyoming, a tiny piece of Montana. I had never been anywhere that far from home and I had never flown that far on a plane. This was my first trip to the West.

June/July:  I went to New York City by myself and had an absolutely wonderful time.

September:  I finally made it to California which fulfilled a life long dream. I went to San Francisco and I absolutely love it out there.

May – December:  I became a big part of BetterMost where I have met many lifelong friends.

December: I finally got my masters degree in information security/computer forensics.

2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don’t really remember making any, but if I had I would say I accomplished them. It has been the best year I have had in a very long time.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Not yet.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

No, but like someone else said I don't want to jinx something like that.

5. What countries did you visit?

Many parts of the United States.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

A true relationship would be nice and a job that I actually like which pays more money so I can travel more.

May 29 – June 4: My trip to Colorado and Wyoming
June 28 – July 3: My trip to New York City

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

All the people who I have met this year.

My trips, but they were well worth the cost.

15.What made you really really really excited?

PH

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:

To never take anyone’s word without figuring out first if they are telling you the truth especially when those words are directed at friends. To always make sure to never turn your back on friends since it is better to try to understand them and/or the situation.

40. Quote a song lyric (any song, any year) that sums up your year:

“But what do you say to taking chances,
What do you say to jumping off the edge?
Never knowing if there's solid ground below

What do you say,
What do you say?”
