Penthesilea:

The music was great. Had a rock sound to it, despite the instruments. And the musicians were even better to look at :D. Boy, all this martial and ethnic outfit sure has something meaty to it!

The drinks were served in earthen cups. My daughter bought a drinking horn. But she doesn't like the thought of drinking from it, considering it is a real horn from a real cow . She just bought it as a souvenir.

Hubby tried Met. OMG, what a horrible, horrible brew :P. I almost spit ot out. Bah!
The kids and I had "Knappenpunsch" (knave's punch), which I also didn't like. Tasted like a mixture of camomile tea and apple juice. The kids liked it though.

How educational!  I didn't know Birkenstocks go back to medieval times!

Oh man, that guy with the white shirt and the drum is HOT! That's exactly the way I like them - blond, muscular and baby faced with a head full of moppy hair. The guy sitting down just to the right of him with the long brown hair is very cute too.

That looks like fun! Those costumes and necklaces are beautiful. Were some of those items for sale, or were they only to look at?
