--- Quote from: Jeff  Wrangler on February 11, 2010, 09:48:17 am ---After yesteday's storm, which didn't end until late last night, Philadelphia is now officially having its snowiest winter ever, since records began to be kept.

I have to admit I'm not particularly minding actually having a winter during the winter. It's a nice change.  :-\

For us it's the snowiest winter since 1978/79.
You're right, we should appreciate what we have. Too many winters we had only muddy, cold weather; gray and rainy for month on end. This is better.
And now, that today's shovelling is behind me (hubby will come home soon and take the next shift with the shovel ;D) it's not so bad anymore.

The worst thing about this strong winter is that I don't have winter tires and have been trapped in this one-horse-town for too long. Nobody's fault but mine. When New Year's was behind us, I thought it wouldn't be worth the bother to have the tires changed, thought we'd be through with snow soon enough. Boy was I wrong ::).

CellarDweller:
I dont' know, but you've got nerve, accusing ME of pouting in my blog!

I'll teach you a lesson!   I'm praying for more snow!

A ticket on an airplane works, Chrissi!

When I visited Germany and Switzerland a long time ago, one of the things that impressed me was how everyone kept their front steps and sidewalk neatly swept every morning. Here in Denver, we dont' bother to shovel snow unless it's a big one. The sun comes out soon after a snow and melts the driveways and sidewalks!!
