Chuckie, is that still glitter leftover from Henry's glitter explosion in 2007? ;)

I bet the folks at the Mint bar are wondering whatever became of the Rock Star. ;D
Penthesilea:
I tried something new today: stuffed pig cheeks.
I had a hankering for something really hearty and old-fashioned. We went to a local wine-festivity and one the menu was just the right thing for me: "Grandma's Sunday Treat: stuffed pig cheeks"
Normally that's not my cup of tea. Alone the name would make me shudder normally. :o
But today it was just right!
The pic is from the internet, BTW, mine didn't have any mushrooms or green noodles. I had SpƤtzle (special kind of noodles) and a dark brown sauce with it. Salad as a side, and I was all set. Afterwards, I felt stuffed myself :laugh:.

Looks....um....interesting, Chrissi..... ::) ;D
What were yours stuffed with?

The meat, including the stuffing, looked the same as in the picture (surprise: that's why I chose it :laugh:). I guess the stuffing was based on minced meat, with herbs and probably some vegetables- Who knows exactly? There's stuff you don't want to know.
Never ask a butcher what's in the sausages, and I guess that's also true for stuffings :laugh:.
But it tasted great! :)
