I was making my usual daily eBay check for HO scale model trains. Somebody has listed a model passenger train set. One of the cars in the train appears to have some slight damage, and this is how the seller described it:

One car, the Tavern, appears to have a crack at the rear but is in good condition.

You collect trains Jeff? I didn't know that! I just dug up my old 1970s HO scale AutoTrain and it's currently sitting on my Dad's dining room table!

Complete with a model Victorian style train station I tried to put together more than 30 years ago.

The passenger carriages' interiors lit up back when I bought the train. But I haven't ran that train in years. When I was 14, we took the Auto Train from Sanford, Florida back to Louisville, Kentucky and it brought back memories. I suppose that is the reason I bought it. Anyway it is complete with the engine, two passenger carriages and the box car (which held the passengers' automobiles).

I've never seen a set like that, David, not even listed on eBay. It might be worth something as a collectible.  :)
