Weather-wise, it's been quite a weekend. Where I was, Good Friday was cold, damp, and rainy, and I got chilled to the marrow when my dad and I took flowers to the graves of my mother and my grandparents. :( Saturday was kind of "transitional," and Easter Sunday has been downright summery.
This late in the season, most of the daffodils and hyacinths are "done," but some are still blooming, and the tulips seemed to be at their peak. :D Also, the dogwoods are coming into bloom (there are three dogwoods on my dad's place, a pink one by the front porch, and two white ones in the backyard) and there were wild violets and wild strawberries blooming in the lawn in my dad's backyard.
I saw robins gathering grasses to build nests :D but no sign of the Easter rabbit. :(

Here we see a poor little kitty who is absolutely unable to get some sleep at night due to her inconsiderate human!
He's tossing and turning so badly all night, that the innocent little creature can't find any rest whatsoever! >:(
Even in the early morning hours, when she, exhausted and desperately, politely asks him to vacate the bed so she can get a few hours of sleep in before her arduous day begins (and possibly provide her with some strength in the shape of cat food), he simply refuses!!!!! :o :o
The inconsideration and cruelty of this man..... ::) ::) >:( >:(
No cats were harmed in the making of this post.

It's still hard for me to believe how long the Brokie/BetterMost phenomenon has been going on and has been part of my life!
