Had a good laugh Saturday evening.
Before I went out to get drunk like I usually do on a Saturday evening, I turned on the Weather Channel to check the local forecast. They were running a report by NBC reporter Bob Dotson an NBC reporter on people in Joplin, Missouri, putting their lives back together after the tornado.
The background music playing under Dotson's the narration? Was from the score for Brokeback Mountain! :laugh:
I'm watching the report, and listening, and I said to myself, "Wait a minute. I'd know those guitar chords anywhere!" :laugh:
ETA: I find that I can't now remember for sure whether the reporter was Bob Dotson or Keith Morrison.

I forgot to check the temperature before I left home this morning, but it's a very nice summer morning here in Philadelphia. :)
It's crossed my mind to wonder whether the absolutley awful weather we've had over the past week is signaling an early fall. Probably not, but the weather reminds me of conditions that are not uncommon around the fall equinox, which doesn't occur for another five weeks.
