Sason:
I'm sure she's gonna be alright, Chrissi. And have lots of fun.

But it's hard, I know.

But after all, this is what we want for our kids, isn't it? To be independent of us.

That's what we bring them up to be. Even though it breaks our motherly hearts.

I've been there myself, and I survived. You will too.  :-*

Penthesilea:
Thank you, Sonja.

It's 11:30PM here and I'm back.
I had a good time when none was expected! ;D

My daughter was really sweet, hugging and kissing me, whispering sweet words into my ear - in front of all her classmates, wow.

When the kids were in the bus, three of us moms stood together and made lots of fun about the teachers and the principal (who is also on this trip). One of the female teachers is a real hottie and we said she's the reason the principal accompanies the trip. Then we pictured the poor man having a hard time not only separating the girls from the boys, but also keeping the male teachers off the hottie.

So I didn't have any time to get sentimental, but had lots of laughs instead.

Penthesilea:
Oh, I forgot to say: the last time my daughter was on a long school trip, the hottie teacher was also on the same trip and we saw her making out heavily, giving her BF something to remember her by, before she entered the bus.

Penthesilea:
Children's birthday party today. 7 eight-year-olds in my house.

My life is a zoo. ::)

(But I wouldn't want it any other way :))
