Well, what a wonderful surprise to see that you have thrown a party for my 1,000 posts while I was sleeping!!! Too bad I missed it!  THANK YOU!!! I'm glad to be officialy part of this club.  :D Kisses for all  :-*  :-*  :-*  :-*  :-*  :-*  :-*  :-*  :-*  :-*  :-*  :-*

PS. I'm leaving tomorrow to Puerto Rico and I don't know how often I'll be able to come in since family takes so much time off you, and plus I plan to spend much of my vacation lying on a beach being lazy  ;D. But I'll try to drop a line or two on my blog Opinionista's Spanish Style Tavern (It was originally called Opinionista's Tapa's Tavern but I changed it because I realized not everyone knows what a tapa is   ;) . So Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Morning all,

Back from Washington DC. Chilly this morning, 22 degrees, with frost on everything.

I want to give a great big public THANK YOU to David. I asked him for advice on how to pack my carry on (for a 30 hour trip I was not going to check my bag) and he told me the 3-1-1 rule: all liquids in 3 oz bottles (or less), packed in a 1 qt ziplock bag, 1 bag per traveler. You have to take it out and put it in the bin with your computer and shoes. Well, I did this, and BOTH TIMES through the screening, the David-equivalent-person said, "THANK YOU! It helps so much when a passenger is prepared!"

So, David, THANKS!

Hugs,
L

David:
Welcome Home Darlin!

And you are welcome re: the 3-1-1 travel tips.

So didja see any cute TSA guys?    :D      So many of the guys I work with are ex-Military and some are really handsome!     Plus many of the young recruits are using the TSA as a stepping stone to other Law Enforcement Careers and they are also nicely built and sporting the "high and tight" haircuts.

Meryl:
Good going, Leslie!  You know where to go for the right info.  ;D

David and FRiends, I won't be online as much for a few days.  Going to see the cousins in PA and grab a cuppa coffee with JeffWrangler on the way back!  Will check in, though.  Back Saturday night.  MWAH!  :-*
