Merry Christmas Eve, everyone.

35 degrees, sunny but with a bit of grey sky. At least it stopped raining! Still no sign and no mention of it in the weather report.

Sheriff Roland:
Bonjour tout le monde, de votre Sheriff, pres du 49e parallel a Timmins (sheriff Roland reportin from one a the most northerly part a Ontario Canada)

Actually had a small dustin a snow last night - fer the time bein, we got ourselves snow on the streets, and on the lawns - The streets will prob'bly be slushy by nightfall (unusual fer Timmins - usually is snow packed!) but the white stuff'll likely stay fer Christmas (life as we know it has been spared rewritin -fer another year!)

Front-Ranger:
Hello, up there Roland in the land of Shania Twain! (Hey, everybody, visit the Shania Twain Centre!)

Actually, isn't the director James Cameron from there too?

A nice place to be from, not in!

And congrats, Leslie! What a way to go!!

Effects of the Denver blizzard continue...I went to the grocery store yesterday, and there was little to be had. Trucks haven't made it into Denver all week. I bought every stick of celery in the store. Also, there were no potatoes of any kind. I had to buy yams. Will look for a yam recipe over on the holiday forum.
