And no, you didn't make me feel gloomy. I don't think people are really moving on permanently. I think the slow day might have been a coincidence or a slow-patch might just be a phase. It makes sense that sometimes people might need a break from the computer. My feeling is that this is about a lot more than BBM at this point. I think for many people, BetterMost has taken on a significance of it's own as a community at this point. There are so many friendships here that it's hard to think of people turning their backs on that. We also seem to continually attract some active and interested newbies too. So, that's a great thing as well.

to be honest - I rarely post about BBM now... but I come and check in most days.. people have spurts and spouts and their new obsessions come and go - meaning they are checking other sites a lot for a period of time - for me its an Amazing Race obsession currently - but they/we always come back here to the familiar to check in!

DVR's are great! you just hit the "Pause" button if you have to pee or grab a snack from the kitchen. Then you hit play. When a commercial breaks, you just hit the jump button until the show resumes.
