Matt Damon (in that above picture) looks too cute to have played Ennis. Jake was the pretty boy in that film. While Heath surely is handsome in BBM, he has a more rugged western look and natural feel to him. And to have Matt and Jake together would have made for two pretty boys and made it less realistic. Does that make sense?

Some do say that Heath and Jake were both too pretty for their roles. I don't say it, but some do. :-\

If you go by the descriptions in the story, I agree they were both too pretty. But since they acted the hell out of the roles, I forgive them their good looks. ;D
