Roland,

When I was flying to Brussels (three weeks ago today!) they showed a map on the video of our journey. How many miles traveled, how many miles to go, etc. The map zeroes in and pulls out and they drop on names of various and assorted cities on the continents we are looking at. At one point, it pulls out and we get a good view of Canada. Do they identify Toronto or Ottawa? No. Guess what city? Timmins.

I am not making this up!

Sheriff Roland:
I was lookin at a list a canadian cities, and their population changes for the last 20 years yesterday. Usta be Timmins had a population a 43 000 (that's what the sign still says when enterin the city limits) but the census(?) claims that the city's population is now down to 32 000 - that's 25% less than at it's peak - no wonder houses large churches can be bought for less than the value a my little bungalo in Toronto.

My parent's house, a much sturdier, larger, much hansomer building than mine fetched just 110 000$ (that's CAN$) last Christmas.
