Ok, I'm back!

Didn't mean to worry y'all.   I thought I had mentioned I was taking the train into Manhattan to see the 2007 New york International Auto show?

Congrats Roland on reaching position number 9!      :D

The show was good.   There are always a bunch of concept cars there that are impressive.   Chevrolet had their retro Camaro convertible on display.  It looks like a 1969 model.   Very cool!   It was Orange with black stripes.

Nissan has a new Altima coming out.   It is pretty nice too.    The Bentley display was real nice.  But prices start at $169,000 dollars.   :-\

I did my best not to drool over the Cadillac XLR convertibles.   LOL.

The show is huge.   It takes many hours to see everything.     We make a day of it.    The Train leaves Hartford at 6:45 AM and gets us to Pennsylvania station at 9:30 AM.  So we walk over to have breakfast at the TicToc diner across from Macys Dept store.     The carshow doesn't open until 11:00 am.      We walk the three or so blocks to the Jacob Javitts convertion center for the show and spend a few hours there.   Then we walk back towards the Train station and stop for lunch.    Then we grab the 3:30 pm train and are home by 6:30pm.       All in all, a nice boys day out in the City.
