Ellemeno:
Uh oh.  It's officially very late here:  David posted the top ten list.  Good night.

MaineWriter:
Another hot one is store for us today. The thermometer says it is 85 degrees already and it is only 7:15 am!

It was 12 C this morning, which is 54 degrees, and I don't think it got much warmer since I arrived here in Egham, Berkshire.

Now it's back to class!

MaineWriter:
Hi Lou!

*Leslie waves*

Hope you're being a good student  ;)

L

louisev:
careful David, you never know when your bosses may be reading your blog and checking the time to see if you are blogging on the job!

and of course I'm a good student, Leslie - which means:  ask questions, but don't ask too many.  Ask insightful questions, but none that get the instructor off the schedule.  Be interested - but not suspicious.  Ask for clarifications, but don't demand explanations!

and like so many Americans who are learning how to get along in Britain, I am learning how to say please and thank you to everyone.  I wish that came along with the standard American education though!

and now, since they are nice enough to offer us connectivity at break time, it is also important not to overextend the privilege!  So cheerio for the time being!  I am hoping I will find some internet resources after class is over today, since last night was spent catching up on sleep.
