It's really rather scary!!

Are you being affected by all those floods too Susie? I saw some reports about it on CNN and MSNBC. It looks awful! It reminds me of the pictures from Hurricane Katrina a couple of years ago.  :(

It'll all clear up by Friday and by Sunday morning it'll be glorious sun shine ... just in time for the beach!

Yes, i know how you Brits are! LOL
My mom was raised near Harragut? And my grandparents on my Dads side are Scottish. My Grandmother came over here in 1927 and my Grandfathers family a generation before that.
So I have some idea! LOL
Well, Here's hoping
it'll all be over soon and just in time to go to the beach.
Whats the water like there at the beach anyway. Here it's in the 80's ( I think that would be the 20's in Celsius)

MaineWriter:
Beautiful pictures, Susie. Thanks!

I laughed when I read "hosepipe ban." When I was in England for the first time ever (1995) they were in the midst of a terrible drought and all I heard about on the radio were the hosepipe bans. It took me a while to figure out they meant no one could use their garden hose to water the lawn or wash the car or whatever.
