But I think they're better than a pup tent smelling of cat piss or worse  ;D.

I think that would depend on who you were sharing that pup tent with... ;)

I guarantee if i would have had one of those on the way home from Boston when we had that 3 1/2 hour layover at midnight in Minneapolis,, i would have crawled right in that sucker...i t would have felt like heaven..If you are asleep.  You dont see how close it is..Kelsey and i both would have fit in those...oh lort I had to be her pillow for four hours...I would have loved it.

And glory, when they have those two or three day layovers for snow storms...that would be a life saver.

Yup, i think i would like a private little space better than sleeping on those bloody uncomfortable chairs at airports - and so handy!

Hmm.. I want to now buy some of these and place them at my local airport for rent - how would you go about doing that exactly!? (I'm half serious here actually!!)

If you are talking about the MetroNap pods...I wrote them yesterday after looking at their website and asked if they had installed any in healthcare facilities? A woman named Janet got right back to me and said yes, they had, including Alta Bates Hospital and Stanford Medical Center (both in Callifornia). I also asked if they had demo units I could test out (I was writing in my official capacity as an editor) but unfortunately the answer to that was no. Well, I could test them if I went to New York City where they have their store in the Empire State Building. But they weren't going to ship one to my office in Portland, Maine!

They had international distributors. You should write, Kelda, and see what the process would be for your airport.
