I guess I'm the earliest one up this morning... seeing as how I'm in England and all....
I went to bed at the silly hour of 8 p.m. last night and finally, FINALLY feel refreshed! And it is a beautiful sunny day in England, I can scarcely believe it! And as an added bonus, the air conditioning broke down in our computer closet so the computers are heating up the office I have been shivering in all week and so it is nice and perfectly toasty in here today!
So good news for me today as I forge away at software installation.

Hiya Louise *waves* :) I'm also here.
Beautiful sunny morning on the continent, too. And at least halfways warm (bot not summerly hot).
I had to laugh about your air condition story. The English are hardened against cool temperatures. Once we walked along a coast trail. It was summer, but cool and windy. I wore a hooded sweater and had pulled up the hood because I got earache from the wind. Then we rounded a corner of a cliff and saw a beach. People were lying there in bath suits and some were actually swimming in the sea :o.

Congrats Leslie :D!
I didn't make it yesterday evening. I reached the 2000 this morning, a few hours after you reached the 7000.
But now I'm finally there. The second thousand went much faster than the first.

The English have problems climatizing themselves to Midwestern heat too. It was 95 F here yesterday, and it's supposed to reach 100 F today. My English boyfriend has been going crazy here. I don't know who is panting more; Alex or my dog Cody!
Poor baby!
