David, I love those questions.  Thanks for posting them.

Driving the wrong direction - Our local Target store is entered from the street by driving up a steep ramp that leads in a straight line up to the fourth floor of the parking garage.  There is a similar exit ramp that starts from the third floor and goes straight down to street level, and opens next to that previously-mentioned entrance.  Well, last year, I unintentionally drove UP the DOWN ramp and got nearly halfway up, unawares, when a car started down toward me.  Oh Geez!  I had to back down.  MiniMeno reminds me of this experience nearly every time we go there, even though it was at least a quarter of her life ago.

30 degrees here this morning! Is the January thaw on its way? I hope so.

Ten years ago this we had the Great Ice Storm, one of the worst weather disasters to ever hit Maine. It was quite an experience. It is hard to believe it has already been 10 years.
