It has turned into a beautiful first day of summer. 80 degrees, blue skies with just a few clouds, a light breeze....perfect!

Well for the first time in as long as I can remember Matt. is not watching the soccer,England did not even qualify. He is watching the tennis chanel instead and this is a boy who lived for soccer.In fact he lived in soccer kit. Now since we moved to the states ,he is a tennis nut and will only watch soccer if England play.
I am quite happy as it saves the blood pressure as I watch England go so far, think they stand a chance, then watch them go out, yet again on a penalty shoot out.
We are having the most spectacular thunder storm here at the moment.The last clap wa so loud all the patio doors shook and I have 3 dogs all trying to get under the same sofa.
We will have these storms now for the next couple of months and they always surprise me.Should be used to them by now.They really are spectacular,and I quite like them, but my daughter is terrified, as soon as she hears the lightning siren go off she just starts to shake.

62 degrees and a little foggy right now. But I am expecting another nice day like yesterday, once the fog burns off.
