Fiona, thanks for the reminder about getting my legs above my heart. The bed in my room is electric and the feet and head can be raised. So last night, I put the feet up and that seems to have made a big difference. There is still a little bit of swelling but they look a LOT better.
13 degrees this morning. I have ANOTHER busy day ahead of me!

I am glad it worked and your feet are a bit better.That's very handy having an electric bed I only ever had one of those when I was in hospital.I t was that funnily enough that reminded me about the raising the feet thing.
The kids used to think it was a riot when they came to visit, making the bed go into every position possible, bless !! Not so fun with a stomach full of stitches mindyou.!!

Sorry no cakes from me,haven't been to the patisserie yet, but have a Heath collage instead, as he was partly responsible for the start of Bettermost !!!
