Cloudy this morning but there is a bit of sun peeking though. 18 degrees here in Basel. I am on my way to Belgium for a mini-Brokie get together with Fabienne! Yee-haw!

The story of Roger & Me.
I arrive in the Marktplace in Basel (coming back on the bus from the University) and there is all this hubbub. I am not sure what is going on but there is a big screen showing a tennis game....

Then I see a "Welcome Roger" sign and begin to get a clue...
MaineWriter:
They make us do a countdown (several times, I am learning my German numbers!) and we see Roger on the TV screen arriving (somewhere) by car. More counting, more cheering and then! Cannons of confetti!
