I love baked beans, and I even like baked beans on toast. But not for breakfast. ...  :P

The first time I was in England, I was also taken aback by the British breakfast choices. But it grew on me. Very much so. Hmmmm, love me a full English breakfast: begin with cereals, then baked tomato, ham and eggs, baked beans, sausages, mushrooms, ... Then end the whole thing with something sweet: orange marmelade on toast.

Yummy! :)

Creamed chipped beef on toast. I posted a recipe for it once on this board, a long time ago. It is good.

And for the record, I like baked beans for breakfast, but I very rarely have them. I also like grits which I only get when I am traveling down south. I like to kid that I couldn't find a grit in a restaurant in Maine if my life depended on it!

And today's weather...11 degrees and a little bit cloudy. Plans for the day include some souvenir shopping for the folks back home...

Well, I better get to sleep if I'm going to impulsively go out for french toast for breakfast tomorrow!

Chrissi and Leslie, I'm glad you are having a good time together!

I've never had "Shit on a shingle", but I have heard of it.

Good morning everyone!

Oh, creamed chipped beef on toast is good! But you might just as well apply it directly to your arteries and your waistline. ...  ::)

Grits? Ummm. Load 'em up with butter and salt. ...  ;D

Baked beans for breakfast? I guess you gotta be British. ...

Pass the bubble and squeak. ...
