Front-Ranger:
I'm so sorry to hear that, Artiste! Your brother is ill? At least, you are all together. I wonder if you have to take care of your brother and mother and if it is a burden.
Thank you for the beautiful flowers and paintings!
It is a beautiful sunny day in the Rocky Mountains. I went out this morning to cut some sprigs of Rocky Mountain sage to send to Brokie friends. There were deer grazing out front who lifted their heads to look at me but they did not bound away. The sage and the grass were encrusted in frozen dew which glittered in the early morning sidelight. It promises to be a lovely weekend.
Artiste:
Merci Front-Ranger!
Thanks for your comforting post!
Yes, beyond troubles with the so-called neighbours who are anti-gay, I have to deal with helping my mother and myself, plus my dying brother since he is on his last days now ! Cigarettes and beer got the best of him, because he now has 3 organs with cancer, and his general doctor refused for many years to send him for tests - not any test at all no matter what: even if my brother requested them and told him how he was sick at his many times with that doctor ! And now, he can't sleep well ! So, I continue to pray for best of health for him and am happy that he is with us here ! He desires to create a painting on canvas, with me encouraging him, but he has no such energy left now
!
And another brother is also an artist painter. He has deer like you coming on his farm... and he created paintings with deers in it!
You are so lucky with that beautiful scene and deers and all there with you Front-Ranger, and may that continue, wishing it for you!
There is now about 4 inches of snow here too now. You have some ?
Au revoir,
hugs!
Kelda:
Snow predicted here too!
Artiste:
There's snow staying on the ground now, many places !
Bonjour toutes et tous - hello to all !
I am still very sad !
I pray that your day will be happy !
Meryl:
Ah, it's nice to be back at the Weather Channel! ;D
It's in the upper 30's in New York, and it feels balmy compared to Anchorage, not to mention Fairbanks, which was dipping below 0 degrees when I was up there. Brrrr! :P
Carmen was a big success, and I had a great time in Alaska---lots of beautiful mountains and friendly folks. Here are a few pics from the journey:
