So I heard they got a foot of snow in Flagstaff, AZ--and not a flake in Philadelphia. What's up with that? >:(

Well, there are mountains and ski areas in Flagstaff. Are there any of those in Philadelphia? No? Then what do you need snow for? ;D
Many people are not aware that Northern Arizona is quite mountainous and alpine. There is a formation called the Mogollon Rim that cuts across north central Arizona that separates the desert from the mountains.
