I flew out a few days after 9/11 and had to limit handluggage to the essentials. Its really not that bad.

London was fine. The really hot weather had ended so the temps were pleasant. I was "Billy Elliot: The Musical" on Wednesday evening and it was FABULOUS. Definitely a high point of the trip. Louise arrived on Saturday and we had fun, talking about writing, doing writing, and just taking it easy. The conference (the whole point of my trip) was fair...LOL
