I second what Chrissi said! Thanks to Meryl, Mikaela and tforster for the wonderful pictures! :D
And like Chrissi, I also loved looking at the food pictures, especially the fry bread! Mom always made the BEST fry bread. Based on the picture, it looks like our Lakota fry bread is a bit thinner than the Navajo fry bread. I haven't tasted decent fry bread since Mom passed. I make it sometimes but it never tastes quite as good.
Childhood memories.
It looks like everyone had a wonderful time and returned home safely! I'm sure there will be another get together before too long. I hope so anyway. :D

I've loved these photos. Wonderful. And I sure did recognize the Chee family sign as Hillermanesque. I thought "Hillerman!" when I saw the photo of Meryl standing next to the Shiprock sign.

Hey - that picture was taken at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah.... the others were in Arches and Capitol Reef Nat'l Parks... ~ Tom
