Brown Eyes:

Well, tonight is a beautiful night in Pittsburgh.  Clear skies (for now) and nice cool temperatures, which should make for good sleeping weather.  They say there may be strong storms later overnight.

I'm watching hockey... which, for me is totally crazy.  I'm not a fan of most sports and especially not sports like football and hockey.  LOL, bull riding (of course) is the major exception when it comes to sports for me.  But, here in Pittsburgh it's almost required by law to watch these Stanley Cup finals.  It's actually a really exciting game tonight.  I find hockey particularly stressful to watch sometimes because the pace is so fast.

Meryl:

WELCOME TO THE CLUB, FRITZ!

David In Indy:

Meryl:
Well, I got back that last roll of film from Mikaela's and my Southwest trip, so here are a few more photos:

Shiprock, holy ground for those of us who love Tony Hillerman's mystery novels:

Driving south toward Gallup, we took a lovely detour through the Chuska Mountains, coming out at Window Rock, Arizona, capital of the Navajo Nation.  Here's a shot of the landmark from the parking lot of the police station (more holy ground):

The lovely and attractive Window Rock police station (looks like stacked mobile homes or something):

Moving right along, to the landmark itself.  Yep, there's a window in that rock:

Here's the monument to the Navajo Code Talkers, heroes of World War II:

Opposite Window Rock is the Navajo Nation Council Chamber where the chapter delegates meet 4 times a year:
