Thanks TOop/Bruce!
Parker's bio is very interesting! So Drew Okum was born in the USA . With that name, I would have changed it too; if you are an actor! But wish I knew more about this:
Professional name taken from a 1950s magazine illustrator.
........
Raped at knife point when he was fifteen.
... So I wonder if that was in high school? And why was he raped? By whom? Anti-gay gang?
.........
It is said that:
in a 1987 interview, sharply criticized the gay adult film industry's failure to respond to the effect the AIDS crisis was having on its performers. He was one of the first producers to insist that performers use condoms in his movies.
........
That is great that he was reponsable that way which probably saved many lives!!
.....
Since he:
was also a contestant on "The Dating Game" (1965)...
he was dated (matched with a female?)
.....
Again thanks,
hugs!!

Recently, I saw two movies and felt that maybe there were gay nuances in them...
(a) The Last Picuture Show, 1971 with Tomothy Bottoms and Jeff Bridges;
is one of those actors gay in real life?
(b) Rebel Without A Cause, 1955 Of course Sal was a gay man in real life; so was the other actor!!
Did one or both give quotes to about that acting as if one charactor therein or both were supposed to be gay maybe??
Hugs!!

Did you know that Larry McMurtry wrote the script for both "The Last Picture Show" as well as co-wrote the script for "Brokeback Mountain"?
