Are you a child of the 60's and 70's? What are some of your memories?

A few more of mine... Silk screen shirts and bell bottom jeans, cinnamon flavored tooth picks, Dungeons and Dragons, florescent posters, dropping acid when it's 98 degrees outside, Pink Floyd and "The Dark Side of the Moon", wearing long hair, rock and roll blaring on the radio, Pintos, Pacers and El CAAAMIIIIIINOs, dip and dry artificial flowers, glow in the dark paint, UFOs, rock "computers", the Green Ghost game, macrame, poppers in a bottle, punch cards for a school lunch, Gene Simmons and KISS, the sound of a vinyl LP playing on a stereo, the protests over the Vietnam War, Sandalwood Incense, Flower Power, Beer bashes deep in the woods. Yes! Barnabas Collins and Dark Shadows! Who could forget it? Thanks Dottie!

My Mom aways had Dark Shadows tuned in each weekday. She'd always be sitting there folding laundry and watching it when I arrived home from school.

BTW..I always thought Barnabas was sexy...even at 10 years old!!  8)

And Stonewall.....  :'(  :'(

Maybe someday it will make a difference in this country.....
