Here's our host and weekend film event organizer!  I had taken a few other photos, none of which came out due to a faulty flash.  This is breakfast at the Santa Cruz Diner:

“Mr. Coyote always gets me good, boy,”  Ellery said, winking.  “Almost forgot what life was like before I got me my own personal coyote.”

*waves to Eric*

Hi Eric, thank you for that wonderful report. You are sooooo lucky!! And reading about the fantastic sound and colour quality. Wow, that must have been great. I've only heard cigarettes being smokes when i listen with headphones watching certain scenes.

And next weekend you're doing it all over again..*sigh* I wanna move to California (temporarily at least  ;D)!!

Brokeback Mountain is in a theatre again next week for three days (Mon-Wed).

After reading Erics beautiful and heartfelt report about his viewings (it's over in the Social Events forum) I'm actually thinking about going to the theatre and seeing it.

How far away is it for you? A long drive?

L

Ca. 60 kilometers, a little more than an hour to drive (one way). But the distance is not important, (almost) no distance is too far for a Brokie.
I'm not sure I'm ready to see it again yet  :-\. I still have the feeling I can't  :(.
But Eric's post made me want to go to the theatre and see it, on some level. *sigh* If only they had shown it before Jan 22.

If only Jan 22 had been a normal day... :( :( :(
