Edit: I forgot to include a description of the show, for those who haven't seen it.

Alan (Jon Cryer) gets divorced from his wife Judith, and is forced to move in with his brother Charlie (Charlie Sheen). Jake, Alan's son stays with Alan on the weekends.

Charlie: Makes a profession of writing jingles for commercials.

Alan: A chiropractor and Charlie's brother.

Jake: Alan's son. Jake stays with Alan (and now Charlie too) on the weekends.

Judith: Alan's money grabbing, alimony hungry ex wife.

Berta: The crass, "tell it to your face" housekeeper.

Rose: Charlie's stalker who lives directly below him. She often makes her way to Charlie's apartment by climbing up his balcony.

Evelyn: Charlie and Alan's unsympathetic and judgmental mother.
