I couldn´t decide where to post comments yet, here or at TC reader or on the "Rookie" discussion or at the end of each new chapter or everywhere. I´m a mess! But I´m getting there. Clara

The Long Way Home - is DONE.

Whew!

Now I only have... um... four? more books to edit and who knows how many short stories?

Next is 'The Red Stallion' which is so big I have to decide how to break it into two volumes - and what to call them.

Suggestions?

that is GREAT news!

Regarding suggestions about titles, perhaps the second half of The Red Stallion could be something like, 'Coming Full Circle' - (without giving away plots to new readers)
symbollically for many reasons, in particular more than one character's realization/acceptance of being queer; and literally, for two, round gold reasons....I must say I dreaded reaching the last page of TRS.

Damn I had to leave Ellery in LWH 60 laid up in the hotel sufferin in front of normal people porn, cause I´m pretty much in the same situation right now, minus npp and room service. I can only sit at the computer for work it sucks. So I won´t be reading the last chapters of LWH for a couple of days.

Well, anyway, those Prescott "vacation" chapters were interesting, Lauras reaction especially. I like it that she obviously hasn´t abandoned all hope for a fulfilling sexlife for herself - despite all her religious crap & calling others nasty & whore etc.  Okay, she ain´t dead yet! How she dressed down Steve for his poor performance, that really wasn´t the christian thing to do. Seeing that "perky" look on Colsons face to boot would´ve been too much for me too.
And when he scares her off with something along the lines of "I may not drink as much as I used to, but I still have that temper" I felt for her, cause the more endearing parts of Colsons personality have obviously been for other people.

Plus: the mysterious Jeeves appears. I´ve already read Chesterfield Fortune, but I still can´t picture him too well. I live in a world of happy stereotypes, so british & gay & stuck up equals Rupert Everett for me, I´ll make do with that for now.
