I did not realise its a UK, Ozzie and kiwi thing to eat beans! Personally I like to eat them as follows:
fry two eggs
2 rashers of bacon,
(put toast in toaster)
then fry the beans in left over fat from the bacon
PS Marmite is infinitely better than Vegemite, and bovril on with fresh bread tops the lot

Looking at the results of this poll... I'm surprised that more folks haven't voted for pinto beans. I totally love pinto beans... I think I even prefer them slightly to kidney beans.
