I'll admit it. I made rack of lamb for xmas. For all I know, it came from Colorado! I have a special recipe: sear the meat in a 500-degree oven for 10 minutes, then coat with a mixture of dijon mustard, lots of black pepper, crushed garlic, fresh rosemary, and especially crushed juniper berries. Top with bread crumbs and a drop of olive oil and roast at 350 for another 20 minutes. Perfectly rosy rare. Let's just say there were no leftovers.
