He had it done in Canada at the end of filming BBM. The leaf represented Canada to him.

That's sweet. Mostly when people ask me about mine I just say it's a maple leaf (unless it's someone I know better), which is good because I've always called Canada my "spiritual home". I've got relatives in Vancouver, BC, and all around the Rockies and spent some time there when I was younger. The tattoo guy spotted it was a maple straight off and asked why it was significant...half an hour later he was probably wishing he hadn't asked.... :laugh:

How cool! But I wonder why and Oak leaf instead of a Maple leaf? Anyhow, I love that because I was born in Canada (Montreal), but live in the States now.

I actually think it is sort of a stylized maple leaf, not an oak leaf. That's the way I see it, at least.
